About Suri 

I was found as a puppy at a local market, where I was one of the street dogs that Little Steps Matter cared for and fed daily. Life took a difficult turn when I was run over by a vehicle, leaving me with a swollen and limping front leg. Thankfully, I was rushed to the vet and had surgery to fix my injury.


After my surgery, I moved into the Safe House, and once I realized I was in a secure and loving environment, I began to blossom. I have the softest eyes and a calm, gentle personality. People tell me that I am an old soul and that when I look into their eyes they feel like I can "see" them. What they don't know is that all I am "seeing" and sending them is love. I'm so grateful.



I get along beautifully with all the dogs here, and I’m a great listener. I love long walks, both on and off the leash, and digging in the soft sand at the beach is one of my favorite pastimes.


My leg has fully healed, and I’m now ready to find a forever home. I’d love to be adopted into a family with another dog friend, as I don't enjoy being alone. I’m also friendly with children and cats, making me a perfect companion for a family with a variety of loved ones.
