The Little Steps Matter Safe House:
A Home for Healing and Hope
In February 2022, the Safe House for our Bali Dogs was born. What was once an empty house, we turned into a soulful sanctuary with a peaceful home environmental flair for our rescues to heal and to love again.
It has been a place of hope for many unwanted dogs, where they experience care and happiness for the very first time. Here they have the opportunity to leave their sad past behind. They learn to trust and love human kind again, they are patiently awaiting adoption and those considered un-adoptable live out the rest of their lives in safety with us.
The Safe House has also become a home for connection, where we meet incredible people who advocate for our mission. We welcome dog loving supporters from around the world who bring over much needed supplies. And we are watching visitors and volunteers fall in love and adopt.
Here we also prepare over 250 meals a day and medication for the animals who rely on us in the streets and local homes. We held countless of health and sterilization days and we continue to exchange ideas within the team to push forward in our vision to reduce suffering by improving animal welfare here in Bali.
